Morzine, Portes du Soleil, France Apartment Sleeps 8 Le Jangilau: 3 bedroom apartment, situated close to Super-Morzine gondola and an easy walk to the centre, shops and numerous bars and restaurants..

Morzine is situated in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps and combines alpine charm and the facilities of a large resort with the convenience of being only 75 minutes from Geneva. In winter the vast Portes du Soleil ski area offers 650 kms of linked pistes connecting 15 ski resorts in France and Switzerland all covered by a single lift pass.

Morzine: Not just a ski resort but a living, well established village. The village has an all year round community and there is a large choice of bars and restaurants. Local specialities include tartiflette, raclette and pierrade. The shops are numerous and the local cheeses, wines, salamis and patisseries are delicious.

The apartment is ideally situated in a quiet part of the village but within an easy walk of the centre, shops and numerous bars and restaurants.

The Super-Morzine gondola is just five minutes walk with access to the Avoriaz and Switzerland. The Le Pleney gondola, to the Morzine ski area, is a ten minute walk, which links with Les Gets, Mont Chery and Nyon. There is also an excellent free ski-bus service with a nearby bus stop which connects to all the main lifts.

There is an extensive cross-country ski area and Avoriaz has a snowboard park.


Accommodation: Comfortably sleeps 8. Large lounge with two comfortable settees, cd, television and video. Alpine dining table with benches and chairs seating 8-10. Balcony with fantastic mountain views and table and chairs. Separate kitchen fully equipped with electric oven and hob, refrigerator, dishwasher.
