The house 'La Florette' stands in its own grounds and is divided into 3 parts all on two floors.
Only one end section is rented out (as shown above) which is able to sleep 10, in two double
and three twin bedrooms. The rest of the house being used solely by the owner. The
owner will not be at the house during the letting season.
La Florette has recently been renovated to a very high standard and has its own private
swimming pool for the exclusive use of tenants. The house is situated 200 m from the River
Aude between Carcassonne & Narbonne in the south of France, close to
the little village of Floure with its quiet streets and an excellent chateau restaurant.
The nearest coastal resorts are about 75 km less than an hour away by the autoroute
at Gruissan and Narbonne Plage.
Floure is situated in the Minervois, an area well known for its excellent wine. To the south lie the Corbieres, a scarcely populated range of hills well worth exploring. To the north rises the Montague Noire and the National Park, the last bastion of the Massif Central. It is also possible to take pleasure trips on the Canal du Midi. Carcassonne, 8 miles away is one of the most visited places in France and is the largest fortified mediaeval city in Europe. There are also several historical cathedral cities within easy reach.
