The house has been renovated to a very high standard.   It is all electric apart from a large wood burning stove in the large living room on the 2nd floor.  Off this living room, there is a large terrace with superb south facing views over the village, castle and mountains.   The kitchen/dining room, along with two bedrooms and bathroom, are on the first floor.   A further two bedrooms with shower room and kitchenette are situated on the ground floor.

Lapradelle/Puilaurens is a small commune dominated by the castle of Puilaurens.   It has two restaurants/bars and adequate shopping for food and other essentials.   The village is surrounded by spectacular countryside together with many places of historical and architectural interest close by.   The city of Carcassonne being the largest fortified mediaeval city of Europe
