Nerja is an old fishing town situated 52 km east of Malaga and a two hour drive from Granada and the splendid Alhambra Palace on the southern coast of Spain. Nerja is built on a cliff, the focal point being the 'Balcon de Europa' a promenade jutting out into the Mediterranean giving exceptional views along the coast and mountains.
